**Job Overview**

The position of Business Finance Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of our operations.

Key responsibilities include preparing, analyzing, and controlling Plant P&L statements, variance reports, and cost reduction initiatives to drive business growth and profitability.

Another key responsibility is driving monthly and annual financial closures in alignment with corporate objectives and budgeting requirements.

Product costing (BOM-based), COGS/COGM, standard vs. actual cost analysis are also handled by the individual in this role.

Capex, RM, and opex budgeting, forecasting, and reporting are owned by the Business Finance Assistant Manager, who drives value engineering and cost optimization through Material Accounting.

Maintaining and controlling plant inventory (RM, WIP, FG, spares) is another critical aspect of this position.

Implementing inventory reduction strategies in coordination with production teams ensures efficient use of resources.

Driving SAP-based reporting, automation, and controls (FICO/MM/SD modules) helps streamline processes and enhance productivity.

Identifying process improvement opportunities and leading automation/efficiency projects enables continuous improvement.

Collaborating closely with Production, Quality, SCM, HR, and Engineering teams provides finance inputs for new product launches, capex proposals, and vendor management.

Strong knowledge of product costing, plant accounting, and Management Information Systems (MIS) is essential for success in this role.

Expertise in SAP (FICO/MM), Microsoft Excel, and financial dashboards is highly valued.

Experience working in a multi-plant, high-speed manufacturing setup is desirable.

Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and leadership skills are required to excel in this position.

  • CA/CMA qualification with 1-6 years of experience in a similar role.
