Financial Operations Specialist

About the Role:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to oversee key business operations, data management, CMS handling, and cross-team coordination. This individual will be responsible for managing various financial activities, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining proper documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Operations Management: Oversee daily operations tasks, including data entry, CMS handling, and cross-team collaboration.
  2. Reporting and Analytics: Prepare and distribute regular financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and business performance metrics.
  3. Accounting and Record-Keeping: Ensure accuracy and compliance in accounting records, update ledgers, and reconcile financial statements.
  4. Accounts Payable/Receivable Management: Assist in accounts payable/receivable management, payment follow-ups, and vendor communications.
  5. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain up-to-date documentation of financial operations activities, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  6. Data Analysis: Work with data to identify trends, track progress, and enhance reporting and analytical skills.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in operations and/or finance, preferably with exposure to CMS tools.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of data analysis and visualization software preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational abilities.
