Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced business development professional to manage and drive revenue growth in our region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional business development strategy to achieve revenue targets.
  • Oversee direct business development efforts, including client prospecting, relationship-building, and deal closures.
  • Support and guide digital sales teams to maximize their effectiveness.
  • Identify and target potential clients, understanding their trade finance needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Source leads and develop a network of corporate customers, bankers, rating agencies etc.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns and initiatives to attract new customers.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of professionals under your supervision as per business volumes.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  • Manage all trade finance activities in your designated region.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations, compliance, and risk management.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven experience in trade finance, financial services, or a related industry, with at least 12-15 years of experience in team leadership roles.
  • Good experience in strategic planning, implementation of strategies to increase sales and the bottom-line profit, business unit development and identifying deficiencies and potential opportunities in the market space.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills/ Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving business environment.
