Finance Director Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead our General Ledger (GL) consolidation and Management Information System (MIS) reporting initiatives.

About the Role:

  • Oversee timely month-end and year-end GL closing activities to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Consolidate financial information from multiple business units/entities in compliance with accounting standards (IND-AS / IFRS / US GAAP).
  • Perform inter company reconciliations to eliminate intercompany transactions and maintain chart of accounts consistency across entities.
  • Support statutory audit, internal audit, and compliance processes with relevant GL data.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements to inform business decisions.
  • Analyze variances between budgeted and actual financial results and provide insightful commentary.
  • Collaborate with the FPA team to align MIS with forecasting and budgeting cycles.
  • Streamline and automate consolidation and MIS processes using ERP and reporting tools.
  • Maintain robust internal controls and adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements in reporting and consolidation practices.
