Job Details

This role is for an experienced Financial Planning Analyst who will be responsible for managing financial data and creating reports to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyse the return on capital employed (ROCE) across product categories, segments, and the company.
  • Conduct a detailed analysis of ROCE at multiple levels.
  • Perform comprehensive sales analysis, including profitability by channel, region, state, source of finance, and customer for both domestic and export markets.
  • Deliver in-depth profitability analysis by product group and SKU level.
Sales Planning & Forecasting:
  • Provide data to support GSP requirements for marketing - exports sales.
  • Develop the annual sales plan, incorporating SKU-wise, category-wise, and segment-wise sales value and tonnage.
  • Compare the annual plan against previous budgets and current year estimates.
  • Ensure management sign-off on annual plan documents.
  • Manage the annual operating plan (AOP) and rolling forecast processes.
Costing & Margin Analysis:
  • Create daily product costing sheets for marketing needs.
  • Maintain actual monthly gross margin statements at various levels: product-wise, category-wise, segment-wise, OEM-customer-wise, and exports-country-wise.
  • Prepare monthly gross margin projections (SKU-wise and segment-wise).
  • Conduct bill of material (BOM) and gross margin analysis, comparing nil margin vs nil margin and projecting gross margins.
Inventory & Revenue Reporting:
  • Calculate and analyze norms vs actuals (SKU-wise, category-wise, and segment-wise).
  • Deliver timely and accurate revenue reports for senior management review.
Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business is required.
  • Professional certifications like MBA, ACCA, or CIMA are preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing finance or financial planning & analysis is essential.
  • Strong expertise in financial modelling, data reconciliation, and reporting automation is required.
