Financial Strategist Role

The Business Finance leader is responsible for providing key financial insights, in-depth analysis, and planning expertise to drive business success.

This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align financial goals and operational strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide actionable financial insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Partner with operations, sales, marketing, and product teams on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning initiatives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly reporting processes to ensure accurate data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze variances between actuals, forecasts, and budgets, and present findings with recommendations for improvement.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and business drivers to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and management reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies to optimize business performance.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure alignment with financial targets.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for senior leadership.
  • Conduct business case analysis, ROI modeling, and scenario planning to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA is a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in business finance, FP&A.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under tight deadlines.
