Senior Director Job Description

The Senior Director will oversee the strategy and roadmap for population health analytics, including HEDIS, AMP certification, clinical risk management, and cost groupers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing the strategy for population health analytics and business intelligence verticals.
  • Collaborating with customers and project implementation teams to ensure accurate analytical results compared to payer reports.
  • Creating standard reports and dashboards that meet customer needs and increase user satisfaction scores.
  • Defining and tracking key metrics to ensure adherence to core development processes.
  • Coordinating with development teams to build tools for repeatable data tasks, increasing efficiency and productivity.
  • Working with product teams to embed analytical algorithms across applications and drive business outcomes.
  • Fostering a data-driven culture and promoting decision-making, analytics, marketing, and investment planning across the business.
  • Mentoring key data analytics and data warehousing personnel to improve their professional skills.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • A master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Statistics, Information Systems, Applied Math, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a data analytics or data warehousing department, preferably as a Head of Analytics.
  • Previous experience with population health analytics, such as HEDIS certification, STAR ratings calculations, or building risk management solutions for providers/payers.
  • Vast experience in building high-performing teams that include data analytics and warehousing personnel.
  • Experience in business process analysis, data architecture design and development, and the implementation of workflow-enabled solutions.
  • Experience working in market/business intelligence, strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional business experience.
  • Technical experience with enterprise data warehouse solutions, statistical analysis tools, database systems, and data visualization applications.
