Resiliency Tester Role:

We seek a skilled professional with expertise in software testing, quality assurance, and systems engineering to lead our resiliency testing initiatives.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities to work collaboratively across teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust testing strategies for enterprise-grade applications and infrastructure.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, scripts, and scenarios that validate fault tolerance, system recovery, and high availability.
  • Conduct stress, load, chaos, and failure testing to simulate real-world disruptions and identify vulnerabilities.
  • Analyze test results to provide actionable insights and risk assessments to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams to recommend improvements in design or operations based on test findings.
  • Monitor system behavior during disruption scenarios, highlighting performance bottlenecks and proposing enhancements.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or systems engineering with a focus on resiliency testing.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Apache JMeter and Rational Performance Tester.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages like Python and Java.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
