Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced finance professional to lead our financial function. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing timely and accurate financial statements, leading the preparation of periodic financial reports, and ensuring that financial reporting procedures are aligned with corporate standards.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience, including experience working in a multi-site environment and international operations. They should have advanced knowledge of Excel and excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Producing monthly and year-end financial statements for statutory reporting
  • Leading the preparation of periodic financial reports and month-to-month analysis, balance sheet documentation, and ad hoc analyses
  • Ensuring that financial reporting procedures are aligned with corporate standards
  • Planning, organizing, and reviewing activities of the accounting team, including accounts payable, payroll, journal entries, and cash management
  • Working with global teams to grow the finance function in India to support company-wide initiatives
  • Leading the year-end audit process for the region, ensuring financial statements comply with relevant standards and practices; interacting with financial auditors
  • Promoting the use of common and harmonized processes and tools across the region based on best practices/strategies
  • Collaborating and aligning with FP&A and Global Finance to provide support for planning initiatives through financial analysis and management information, reports, and recommendations
  • Ensuring all internal controls and procedures are in place and effective
  • Participating in other special projects as required for the growth of the company
  • Ensuring compliance with local tax laws

Certifications:

  • Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant

Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of 14 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in a multi-site environment and international operations
  • Experience managing a full-cycle accounting team

Key Competencies:

  • Good knowledge of IFRS standards
  • Knowledge of SAP helpful but not mandatory
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
