About the JobWe are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Representative to generate sales in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy products or services.
A successful Business Development Representative must be friendly, persuasive, patient, and cool-tempered to deal with aggressiveness and complaints.
The goal is to promote business growth by expanding our clientele.
Key Responsibilities:- Cold call people using a given phone directory to sell products.
- Answer incoming calls from prospective customers.
- Use scripts to provide information about products, features, prices, etc., and present their benefits.
- Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer's requirements.
- Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how merchandise or services meet their needs.
- Record the customer's personal information accurately in a computer system.
- Deal with complaints or doubts to safeguard our reputation.
- Go the extra mile to meet sales quotas and facilitate future sales.
- Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information.
We require a Bachelor's degree, excellent communication and presentation skills, negotiation and complaint-handling skills, persistence, results-oriented approach, and patience to handle customer rejection.
The estimated salary for this position is around $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
