Job Opportunity

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for software applications.
  • Develop and execute test automation scripts using programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Identify and report defects to development teams in a timely manner, facilitating efficient resolution.
  • Establish and maintain test data management strategies to optimize testing efficiency.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of quality engineering experience, coupled with a strong software automation testing mindset.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and Python, enabling the development of robust test automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in automation testing tools and/or comparable technologies, including Page Object Design Pattern, Page Factory, and TestNG.
  • Experience in creating UI Automation Frameworks and Test Suites using Selenium, Cucumber, and relevant libraries.
  • Experience in creating API/Backend Automation Frameworks and Test Suites using Rest Assured, JUnit, Mockito, Spring Boot, Cucumber, Kafka/MQ, Wiremock, and PostgreSQL.
  • Cloud and CI/CD Experience - Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins, allowing for seamless integration with DevOps pipelines.
  • Strong experience in performing functional testing across various phases of the software development life cycle, including CI/CD projects.
  • Ability to create and maintain test beds and test documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Knowledge of software development, software design, and overall system architecture, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Leadership qualities, with experience in guiding small teams towards shared goals.
  • Experience in testing scalable web services (REST or SOAP) and APIs in microservices architecture.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, and Shell scripting, expanding toolset capabilities.
  • Experience in performance testing using Scala/JMeter, ensuring optimal application performance.
  • Experience in JavaScript-based automation frameworks, such as Cypress, for enhanced efficiency.
