Senior Quality Assurance Automation Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of testing methodologies and have hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.

They should be proficient in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C# and have experience with automation frameworks like TestNG, BDD, and Cucumber.

This role involves designing test scenarios to ensure 100% requirement coverage, preparing and maintaining test cases, reporting defects, and overseeing the overall testing process. Additionally, they will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather detailed test requirements and thoroughly understand application functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and Delivery teams to prepare standard test scenarios.
  • Run tests on various application components and features to identify and resolve functional and technical issues.
  • Design test scenarios to ensure 100% requirement coverage; prepare and maintain test cases, report defects, and oversee the overall testing process.
  • Support the software development workflow by actively participating in Scrum ceremonies and promoting standardization measures.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and related tools/frameworks.
  • Develop and execute performance test scripts using tools like JMeter or Gatling to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
  • Create and maintain mobile automation test scripts using Appium for Android and iOS platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree / BE/B.Tech or equivalent in a technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with automation frameworks like TestNG, BDD, and Cucumber.
