Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lab Technician to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our engineering labs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day lab operations, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Maintain inventory control, asset management, PO management, invoice payment, and delivery management for lab tools and equipment.
  • Perform equipment hardware installation and calibration, software licensing and renewal management.
  • Drive lab space safety, regulatory, and security processes compliance.
  • Design and assemble test fixtures, wire harnesses, including simple PCBA design and assembly.
  • Prioritize and accommodate lab/equipment needs from various engineering teams.
  • Experience with lab PO process: from quotation, purchase, payment to delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar field: 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Efficiently and professionally: Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Autonomy and Troubleshooting: Ability to work independently with little direction, debug systems with limited support.
  • Technical Expertise: Working knowledge of Linux machines, computer literacy (MS tools), experience with Linux commands and troubleshooting.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Understanding of energy storage, microgrid, and renewable energy systems, experience with Python programming languages, IoT-based systems desirable.
