Job Overview

Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned mechanical engineer to join our team in designing and developing innovative equipment for the food industry. This role involves conceptualizing, designing, and developing novel food equipment that advance processing technologies from concept to production scale.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in new product development, machine design, and complex assembly design. Proficiency in CAD software and FEA analysis tools is essential.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will work closely with our team of passionate engineers, builders, and creators to tackle the challenges of building a more sustainable food system.

  • Develop and improve equipment designs to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
  • Contribute to the development of manufacturing processes and quality control systems.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on product design and development.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and FEA analysis tools.
  • Proficient in GD&T, DFM, DFA, and understanding of manufacturing machines.
