About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operating Supplies and Equipment Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and management of operating supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of operating supplies and equipment.
  • Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers to secure the best deals and ensure quality goods.
  • Create and manage purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Implement reordering processes to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Oversee the inspection and acceptance of goods upon delivery to verify condition and adherence to order specifications.
  • Monitor and control budgets for operating supplies and equipment purchases.
  • Prepare reports related to purchasing and inventory management to support decision-making and financial planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities.
