About the Job

As a technical expert, you will serve as the pre-sales advisor supporting our application security portfolio. You'll work closely with the sales team to design customer-centric solutions, deliver impactful demos and proof-of-concepts, and guide organizations on best practices in application security.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and workshops for our application security solutions.
  • Prepare responses for technical sections of request-for-information/request-for-proposal documents and address customer queries.
  • Guide customers in adopting our application security solutions within their DevSecOps pipelines and secure software development lifecycle practices.
  • Partner with sales, services, product management, and support teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Build reusable technical assets (presentations, demo scripts, FAQs).
  • Conduct partner enablement workshops and provide technical guidance for channel engagements.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, compliance requirements, and application security best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or consulting in application security or enterprise software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of security testing tools and methodologies (DAST, SAST, SCA, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, Bash).
  • Experience with our application security solutions or competitor tools like Fortify, Checkmarx, Snyk, Veracode, or Burp Suite.
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and secure coding practices.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
