Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to drive business growth, build strong relationships with clients, and enable our products.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive rapid user acquisition, engagement, activation, and revenue growth for our B2B product.
  • This includes working closely with internal stakeholders to develop and launch new features or products that support growth while optimizing user experience.
  • The ideal candidate will continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and experience from a product standpoint.
  • The role requires achieving success and numbers (P&L, customers onboarded, activated) for the assigned category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Growth Strategies:
    • Develop and execute plans to drive user growth, including user acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new features or products that support growth.
    • Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform growth strategies.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, PA/PGs, and TSPs.
    • Develop and maintain customer-centric principles within the organization and with clients.
    • Understand customer needs and develop plans to address them, ensuring fast closures.
    • Identify key staff in client companies to cultivate profitable relationships.
  • Product Enablement:
    • Become familiar with our products and offerings, including creating business models and high-end decks with complete value propositions as part of product pitches.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to onboard new prospects and existing players on our products.
    • Manage multiple onboarding and go-live projects simultaneously in an effective and timely manner.
    • Prepare dashboards and trackers to share with management on a weekly and monthly basis for successful rollouts.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of payments and digital technologies.
  • Experience in building and running payments products/platforms is an added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office tools (Excel, PPT, Doc).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to achieve consensus and drive business objectives.
  • Familiarity with AI capabilities and ability to leverage AI-driven insights/tools for business development and partner engagement.
