Job Title: Controls Testing Lead

The purpose of this role is to support the development of testing methodologies for key controls across a global business.

This individual will focus on assurance activities over resiliency material and critical controls testing, with the potential to move into other operational risk domains.

The job involves developing and executing controls testing plans, and communicating, agreeing upon, and monitoring gaps in controls in line with organizational risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the assurance planning process by identifying and prioritizing testing activities.
  • Plan and execute control tests, including coordinating the review process with stakeholders, managing the activities of control testing analysts, reviewing work quality, and ensuring alignment with the assurance testing methodology.
  • Prepare draft reports reflecting the results of work performed and advise the business on suitable solutions and remediation activities, engaging other 2LOD and subject matter experts in agreeing action plans.
  • Present results to senior management to secure buy-in and agreement to action.
  • Coordinate activities throughout the review lifecycle with senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics to identify opportunities for converting manual testing into analytics-based testing and continuous assurance activity.
