Inventory Assurance Specialist

The primary goal of this role is to provide assurance on the accuracy of stocks reported and lay a check on the controls around inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a monthly audit schedule subject to approval from senior management.
  • Conduct thorough scheduled and surprise audits ensuring independence and professionalism.
  • Identify and question inaccuracies observed during audits providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and execute strategies for loss prevention shrinkage control internal/external theft investigations fraud detection CCTV surveillance and incident reporting.
  • Review project vendor bill submissions as an independent expert to ensure accuracy of measurements and billing.
  • Enforce execution of corrective actions in cases of stock pilferages.
  • Pursue authority to scrutinize all processes within inventory/commercial areas and produce detailed audit reports accordingly.
