Solar Site Supervisor Role Overview

We are looking for a Solar Site Supervisor who will take ownership of solar site installations from start to finish.

This role requires a highly organized and skilled professional with strong project management abilities, excellent communication skills, and in-depth knowledge of solar systems and electrical safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Design & Planning: Assess site conditions and customer needs. Design suitable solar setups (panels, inverter, battery, charge controller, mounting structures).
  • Project Execution: Identify and manage local installers and vendors. Order and track materials for each project. Supervise installation work at site, ensuring quality and safety.
  • Customer Management: Act as the single point of contact for customers during project execution. Provide regular updates on project progress. Resolve customer issues quickly.
  • Technical & Electrical Work: Perform on-site testing using multimeter, clamp meter, etc. Oversee electrical wiring and system connections. Troubleshoot and rectify technical issues on-site.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication / Renewable Energy / Solar Technician or ITI in Electrician / Electrical / Renewable Energy.
  • Experience: 13 years of experience in solar installation or electrical works.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of solar systems and electrical safety. Familiarity with different mounting methods: Mangalore tile, concrete roof, farmland, gazebo, etc.
  • Soft Skills: Good communication skills, ability to handle customers confidently. Willingness to travel and stay on-site as required.
