Job Overview

The Factory Hygiene Officer is a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of factory workers.

This position involves coordinating various aspects of occupational health, including managing clinic operations, planning wellness programs, supervising paramedical staff, maintaining digital records, and acting as a liaison between senior management and factory personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Manage the Occupational Health Clinic, including scheduling appointments, conducting medical tests, and providing first aid as needed.
  • Develop and implement wellness programs to promote employee health and productivity.
  • Supervise and mentor paramedical staff to ensure they are equipped to handle their duties effectively.
  • Maintain accurate electronic records of employee health information and program outcomes.
  • Act as a liaison between senior management and factory personnel to ensure effective communication and resolution of health-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in occupational health or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic record-keeping software.
