Senior Performance Tester Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and executing load, stress, and scalability testing.

  • Maintain technical expertise in performance/load testing principles and standards.
  • Design and develop solutions for supporting Cloud and CI/CD environments.
  • Communicate effectively across multiple teams and external vendors.
  • Monitor server metrics using APM tools.
  • Participate in continuous improvement measures to increase automation effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Innovate and implement solutions for business-critical transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct endurance, stress, load, volume testing to validate production readiness.
  • Provide performance testing software systems support for business units.
  • Coordinate and execute creation of Test Cases, scripts, and performance test execution.
  • Design, develop, and execute scripts to validate test cases defined within the project plan.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of performance testing experience.
  • Min 5 years of experience with OpenText LoadRunner and protocols Citrix, RDP, Java.
  • Significant experience working with Jmeter and APM tools.
  • Proven experience with SOAP Web Services and RESTful Web Services testing.
  • Strong knowledge of performance testing principles, techniques, and standards.
  • Experience with SDLC and SQA processes and practices.
  • CI/CD tool and practice experience.
