Playwright Senior Tester Role

We are looking for an experienced automation expert to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in developing and maintaining robust automated test scripts using Playwright.

  • We require a degree or equivalent qualification with at least 4-10 years of relevant experience in the testing field.
  • The candidate must have at least 4+ years of experience in Playwright development.
  • A strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript is required, as well as hands-on experience with SQL query writing.
  • Knowledge of Python development experience is beneficial.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps) is necessary.
  • Familiarity with API Automation testing tools like Rest Assured is essential.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Automation Scripts: Create robust, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts using Playwright.
  • Test Planning: Design and implement test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Cross-Browser Testing: Ensure compatibility across multiple browsers and platforms.
  • Defect Management: Identify, log, and track software defects; assist in root cause analysis and debugging.
