Job Title: Senior Finance Executive

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced finance leader to drive strategic financial decision-making and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting strategies.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting requirements across jurisdictions.
  • Create and manage internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with compliance and legal teams on AML, KYC, tax, and regulatory filings.
  • Design financial reporting models, including on/off-chain reconciliations and token/fiat flow tracking.
  • Lead treasury operations including liquidity management, crypto wallet oversight, exchange accounts, and banking relationships.
  • Oversee payroll, vendor payments, revenue recognition, and financial operations.
  • Evaluate financial and operational risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3–5 years in fintech or payments companies.
  • A fair understanding of crypto markets, blockchain transactions, digital asset accounting, and custody mechanisms is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive grasp of regulatory reporting frameworks applicable to Fintech firms (e.g., VASP, FATF guidelines).
  • Demonstrated experience managing statutory and regulatory audits, and a history of collaboration with tier 1 audit firms.
  • Profound knowledge of financial controls, risk management, and treasury operations within a dynamic environment.
  • A hands-on leadership style, with proven comfort operating within startups or scale-ups with limited resources.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with external regulators, partners, and internal teams.
  • CA / CPA/ ACCA certification preferred.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with Crypto payment or infrastructure space.
  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional licensing (e.g., DIFC, MAS, EU MiCA).
  • Exposure to UAE tax accounting and cross border payments framework.
