Job Title – ServiceNow Technical Lead
Job Summary:
Candidate should have a proven track record in leading ServiceNow development projects, designing and implementing complex solutions, and mentoring team members. This role requires a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, strong technical abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the ServiceNow development team.
- Design, develop, and implement complex ServiceNow solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations using ServiceNow development framework.
- Identify opportunities to improve ServiceNow processes and workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Creating custom forms, lists, and reports.
- Integrating ServiceNow with other systems and applications using web services and APIs
- Designing and implementing custom workflows to automate IT service management processes
- Developing custom scripts to perform specific tasks or calculations
- Writing and maintaining business rules to enforce specific business logic
- Writing and maintaining client scripts to enhance the user interface and improve the user experience
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues with custom applications
- Advises on options, risk and impacts on business processes and technical architecture
- Communicates technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Design, Develop and Implement solutions for Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request, Asset, CMDB, GRC and Knowledge
- Responsible for integration with multiple LDAP, SSO, SCCM, and other Infrastructure tools
- Manage implementation and execution of ServiceNow Discovery, Service Watch, Orchestration, Performance Analytics
- Responsible for implementation of ServiceNow Data Model
- Oversee ServiceNow scripting and security best practices
- Excellent Knowledge of web-based development languages; specifically, JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS and ServiceNow API's, Web Services
- Basic Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- With an overall of 8+ years of experience in IT Development, a minimum of 3 to 4 years' experience in ServiceNow is required.
- Expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalogue, Knowledge)
- Expertise in CSM ServiceNow Portal and custom application development
- Good exposer on ServiceNow platform, having good knowledge on ServiceNow components like client scripts, business rules, ACL, Script includes, UI pages, Ui actions, work flows, flow designer
- Experience with ServiceNow integration platforms (Integration Hub, Flow Designer).
- Should have experience on Virtual agent & Agent workspace, Virtual Designer
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, Orchestration, and Event Management).
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow development tools and technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Angular, Jelly scripting, HTML, CSS, REST/SOAP).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Certifications:
- CSA, CAD certification
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- ITIL V3 Foundation Certified
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience providing technical leadership for modernization projects, including strategic planning and implementation, making use of Cloud services
- Experience with end-user and stakeholder engagement, communication, and training
- Experience in other ITSM systems, such as BMC Remedy
