Job Title: Operations Engineer

The Operations Engineer is a key member of our engineering team, responsible for delivering project requirements and working in an integrated 3D environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver Project Requirements: Assist the Project Engineer with the delivery of project scope, quantities, quality, cost, and schedule.
  2. Produce Design Calculations: Responsible for producing design calculations, reports, specifications, evaluation reports, technical recommendations, and 3D models and 2D drawings as per project requirements.
  3. Maintain Technical Deliverables: Produce and maintain technical and engineering deliverables using 2D and 3D engineering software as required.
  4. Facilitate Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate the sharing of technical expertise across projects, including archival of project documents.
  5. Provide Training: Provide and/or participate in training for resources assigned to the project.
  6. Perform Conceptual Layout Work: Perform conceptual layout work.
  7. Develop Design Details: Develop design details, prepare/extract drawings, and check the deliverables prior to release.
  8. Ensure Coordination: Ensure coordination with engineers within the discipline and with other disciplines.
  9. Resolve Issues: Coordinate and review clash detection in an integrated model with other discipline engineers and resolve issues if any.
  10. Participate in Engineering Review Processes: Participate in formal engineering review processes.
  11. Review Vendor Drawings: Review vendor drawings and documents, including archival and inputs to other disciplines.
  12. Represent the Discipline: Represent the discipline during site visits/client meetings as felt necessary by PE/PM.
  13. Support Technology Team: Support the technology team/project team for development and automation works as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1-4 years of experience in relevant design discipline.
  • Experience in engineering packages.
  • Postgraduate or graduate in an engineering discipline.
