Job Title: Head of Credit

Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished professional to spearhead our credit function, driving strategic growth and risk management initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the credit team in developing and implementing effective strategies, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate credit functions seamlessly across departments.
  • Drive portfolio growth through innovative credit solutions and risk management plans.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of SME and corporate clients, leveraging industry expertise to maximize returns.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • 18-20 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven track record in handling credit functions in banking or NBFC environments.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience, demonstrating strategic vision and team leadership skills.
  • In-depth understanding of credit policy and processes in lending/lease products.
  • Exposure to multiple asset classes (automobile, equipment, real estate, etc.).
  • Understanding of ECL/loss models and risk management principles.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business priorities.
