Policy Leadership Role

The Public Policy Manager plays a pivotal role in navigating the complex landscape of India's policy framework to ensure seamless alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Policy Direction
  • Representing the organization's interests with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments to identify emerging opportunities and challenges.
  • Providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on key policy matters.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to address critical legislative, regulatory, and public policy proposals.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert in policy-related matters, offering tactical and strategic advice.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across regulatory, industry, and business networks.
  • Engaging with industry associations and forums to advocate for priorities and contribute to shaping relevant policy frameworks.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in public policy and regulatory affairs, with a focus on the Indian market.
  • A robust network of stakeholders, including senior levels, with effective interaction skills.
  • An understanding of the policy climate in India, combined with sound business judgment and common sense.
  • An ability to anticipate emerging issues and communicate their impact to senior management.
  • Ability to identify technical aspects and synthesize policy documents for internal and external customers.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Sound business judgment and a practical approach to policy development and regulatory compliance.
