Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Company Secretary & Legal to join our organization. As a Company Secretary, you will ensure the company's compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, provide advisory support to the board of directors and senior management on corporate governance, and handle various legal tasks.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Ensure corporate compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.
- Support the board by organizing meetings, drafting resolutions, and maintaining records.
- Prepare and file statutory returns and reports with regulatory authorities.
- Maintain and update statutory registers, books, and records as required.
- Provide expert advice on corporate and regulatory matters.
- Deliver compliance training for employees and management as needed.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Manage legal disputes and coordinate with external counsel when necessary.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Law (LL.B.) and Company Secretary (CS) qualification from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
- Proven experience as a Company Secretary in a corporate setting.
- Deep knowledge of corporate laws, SEBI regulations, and other applicable statutes.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
