About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our expanding sales team at Version 1 India – Bangalore – North location. As a Business Growth Specialist, you will be responsible for driving new business sales through identifying and prospecting target accounts, developing existing customer relationships, and working with our Lead Generation team to undertake targeted marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect a set of agreed target accounts to drive new business sales.
- Develop and manage existing customer relationships to increase revenue growth.
- Work with our Lead Generation team to design and implement targeted marketing campaigns.
- Negotiate contracts covering consulting services, fixed price applications development, and managed services.
Requirements:
- Significant experience working in Sales/Account Management/Business Development in the IT industry with exposure to managed services and/or consulting services.
- Experience of successfully selling solutions (rather than products) at a senior level.
- A clear understanding of the software development life cycle from envisioning to solution implementation to managed services.
- A clear track record of sales, having achieved at least 3 out of the last 4 years on/exceeding the target.

- Ambitious, confident, enthusiastic individual with a “can-do” attitude.
