Lead Taxation, Audit & Compliance Expert

We are seeking a Lead Taxation, Audit & Compliance Expert to drive our team's success. This senior role involves overseeing the team, providing technical guidance, and ensuring regulatory adherence across various engagements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of taxation, audit, and statutory compliance initiatives.
  • Management of CA Articles and junior staff through mentorship and guidance.
  • Conducting knowledge-sharing sessions and supporting team development.
  • Supervision of preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns, GST Returns, and Statutory Audit Reports.
  • Management of GST audits, tax computations, and annual filings.
  • Review and finalization of financial statements and audit documentation.
  • Drafting replies and representing clients in hearings under the Income Tax Act and GST Act.
  • Coordination with tax authorities for assessments, inquiries, and departmental proceedings.
  • Ensuring full compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other relevant regulations.
  • Advising clients on compliance under the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and GST.
  • Providing strategic tax planning, risk mitigation, and financial consulting.
  • Handling corporate law assignments, due diligence, and restructuring support.
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • 0–3 years of post-qualification experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian Tax Laws, GST, Accounting Standards (Ind AS), and Companies Act
  • Experience with financial statement preparation, audits, and regulatory filings
  • Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
