Compliance Specialist

The role of a Compliance Specialist is crucial in ensuring that all business activities are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Compliance Specialist.

About the Role

As a Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Disseminating relevant circulars and notifications issued by regulators on a daily basis to respective departments and tracking actionable items.
  • Settling client balances and maintaining knowledge of related processes.
  • Preparing documentation for AP registration and cancellation, as well as maintaining knowledge of related compliances.
  • Providing access to NEAT/CTCL terminals and maintaining MIS for these systems.
  • Submitting regulatory returns to exchanges and handling day-to-day compliance tasks.
  • Coordinating with exchanges, clients, and departments to resolve compliance-related issues.
  • Maintaining records of client transactions.
  • Preparing various applications and documentation in accordance with exchange rules and regulations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum 1.5 years of experience in broking or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
