Job Role: Financial Compliance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Financial Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing statutory filings, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and preparing accurate financial statements.

  • Manage statutory filings, including tax returns and financial statements, to ensure timely submission and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any legal or compliance issues related to financial statements.
  • Monitor and stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations, including the Companies Act, income tax provisions, TDS regulations, and GST laws.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns.
  • Ensure compliance with GST regulations, including timely filing of returns, reconciliation, and addressing any GST-related queries.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience in finance operations, statutory filings, and financial statements preparation.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Companies Act, income tax provisions, TDS regulations, GST laws, and financial reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and tools, including Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial statements and compliance filings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
