Financial Operations Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in the position of Financial Operations Manager. This role will be responsible for contributing to monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, reserve calculations and intercompany transactions.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US GAAP and local statutory books and records, with experience in maintaining accurate and timely submission of financial packages to Corporate.
  • Maintaining fixed assets, detailed asset and depreciation schedules, reviewing capital expenditures to ensure proper classification is also an essential aspect of this role.
  • Additionally, the Financial Operations Manager will assist with the credit and collections process, including follow-up with customers for past due amounts.
  • Supporting the Accountant in recording and paying account payables, preparing and supporting the GST, TDS, PT and PF filings, complying with Corporate SOX controls and documentation are all key responsibilities.
  • The successful candidate will also assist with the quarterly physical inventory process and undertake other ad hoc projects as requested.
Qualifications and Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance/CA/ICWA/CFA/CPA or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 7-12 years of accounting experience in a public company, preferably with knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and BPC.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX internal controls, with experience in audits.
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
