Financial Expert Role

The company is seeking a seasoned financial professional to fill this role. This position entails reviewing and supporting month-end activities, including sub-ledger closure, general ledger account reconciliation, reporting, and balance sheet account analysis.

  • Assist in the variance analysis for all P&L and Balance Sheet accounts and share findings with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate expertise in accounting principles and systems design to identify complex issues and develop resolutions.
  • Evaluate and improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and address any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with auditors to resolve audit-related queries and ensure smooth completion of audits.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) degree with 5+ years of experience in month-end closing, sub-ledgers, accounting knowledge, balance sheet reconciliation, GST/VAT, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in standard software, including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence business decisions using data.
  • Knowledge of GST or VAT (Indirect tax) in accounting and compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Additional requirements include proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial planning and analysis.

The successful candidate will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to present financial information to senior management.
