Health Programme Officer Role

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the effective implementation of health projects.

  • Support the development of situation assessment reports to enhance the understanding of health indicators, thereby informing strategic decisions and improving programme outcomes.
  • Conduct research in various project themes with NGOs, leveraging insights from existing data and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities:

Research and Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Design and implement research protocols, including needs assessments, baseline/midline/endline studies, operational research, and evaluation across health projects, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Consult with technical partners, academic institutions, and field teams for coordinated data collection and quality assurance, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.

Budget Management and Communications

  • Monitor programme progress against programmatic and budgetary targets, making necessary adjustments to optimize resource allocation and maximise impact.
  • Build health programme visibility on social media platforms for internal and external audiences, highlighting success stories and best practices.
