As a compassionate Mental Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to recognize, prevent, and overcome challenges like abuse, mental health struggles, and relationship issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist clients with voice and non-voice (call and chat) applications on our platform relating to abuse, mental health, and trauma.
  2. Conduct comprehensive user assessments, evaluating symptoms, identifying risk factors, and formulating customized plans.
  3. Provide immediate crisis intervention, including assessing safety, facilitating de-escalation, and coordinating referrals for further care if necessary.
  4. Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and community resources available to support their well-being.
  5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
  6. Maintain accurate records of client assessments, progress notes, and interventions in compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  7. Stay informed about current developments in the field, participate in ongoing training, and pursue opportunities for growth as appropriate.
  8. Promote awareness about mental health and reduce stigma through outreach efforts and advocacy.

Requirements

  1. Master's Degree in Psychology or Counselling is required.
  2. Specialization in counselling psychology is preferred.
  3. Flexibility to work in rotational shifts is essential.
  4. Strong typing skills with 90% accuracy are mandatory.
  5. Demonstrated ability to empathize with individuals who have experienced abuse or injustice is crucial.
  6. Deep understanding of mental health and well-being, along with a commitment to promoting mental health awareness and support, is necessary.
  7. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
  8. Knowledge of regional languages is an added advantage.
