Job Role:

You will lead research and policy analysis projects, applying advanced econometric methods for causal insights. Your work will involve large-scale datasets, including administrative, labor, GST, satellite, and survey data. You will translate evidence into policy recommendations and clear outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data-driven research and policy analysis projects
  • Analyze large-scale datasets using econometric models
  • Develop policy recommendations based on research findings
  • Collaborate with researchers and stakeholders, including government officials and partners

Requirements:

  • Master's or PhD degree in Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, or related quantitative field
  • Strong background in econometrics, statistics, and programming (Stata, R, Python)
  • Experience in empirical research, data analysis, and publication

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience in survey design and field data collection
  • Familiarity with India's statistical system
  • Strong communication skills for policy briefs, government engagement, and op-eds
