Job Description

Job Title: Operations Manager

Level: L5B - Manager

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Servant Leadership:
    • Develop and execute the site's operational strategy to drive business growth and profitability.
    • Lead and support departments in implementing world-class manufacturing practices to meet business objectives.
    • Maintain alignment between all parts of the site's supply chain by coordinating departments to work together effectively.
    • Coach managers to develop teams at all levels to produce performance results through servant leadership principles.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Provide expert analysis and recommendations to senior management on business improvement initiatives and investments.
    • Develop specific manufacturing performance improvement initiatives to optimize cost, eliminate waste, and improve operational flexibility.
    • Engage with senior management to provide expert advice on business strategy and direction.
  • Talent Development:
    • Demonstrate managerial leadership to develop team against role capabilities.
    • Ensure effective implementation of training & development programmes by aligning site /line management.
    • Coordinate talent evaluation programmes to maintain consistency of approach and ensure alignment with business objectives.
