Job Opportunity:

The role of Global Associate Director Cardiovascular is a challenging and exciting position that requires a high level of expertise and experience in the field of cardiovascular medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the Enterprise Cardiology strategy, initiating and executing large-scale projects, optimizing processes, developing risk mitigation actions, and sharing results with stakeholders.

Main Job Tasks:
  • Driving the Enterprise Cardiology strategy by identifying key gaps and developing strategies to address them.
  • Initiating and executing large-scale projects related to cardiovascular medicine, including project management and execution, stakeholder management, and communication across the top 10 global focus markets.
  • Optimizing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, and developing risk mitigation actions to minimize potential risks.
  • Sharing results with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A Master's degree or above in a relevant area, such as medicine or business administration.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and deep understanding of different functions across the value chain.
  • 12-14 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with specific experience in building portfolio strategies.
  • Excellent execution skills in organizational complexity, with the ability to raise awareness, drive alignment with internal stakeholders, and communicate effectively with external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with both qualitative and quantitative abilities, and experience working with pharmaceutical products or medical devices.

Geographic Responsibility:
The position has a global reach, requiring knowledge of market characteristics across key markets and regions. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with stakeholders across functions and markets, and to develop and implement strategies that are tailored to the needs of each region.

About the Department:
The Commercial GBS unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Senior Vice President (SVP) areas within Commercial GBS. This includes Diabetes, Obesity, Rare D, and CETA TA areas.
