Senior Hosting Product Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Hosting Product Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the stability of our products, handling incident response, troubleshooting, and fixes for various products/services.

The role requires strong academic performance, good understanding of Linux Systems, Shell/Bash, sed/awk/grep/egrep, VI/VIM/Emacs, netstat, lsof, strace, ps/top/atop/dstat, grub boot config & systems rescue, fstab/disk labels, ext3/ext4, IPtables, sysstat (sar/vmstat/iostat etc), run-levels & startup scripts, sudo/chroot/chkrootkit/rkhunter.

The successful candidate should have fundamentals such as Basic DNS & Networking, TCP/UDP, IP Routing, HA & Load Balancing Concepts, Application Protocols: SMTP,HTTP,FTP,IMAP,POP. They should also be willing to work in shifts (including at night and on holidays).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor product stability and handle incident response
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues with various products/services
  • Participate in 24x7 shifts to ensure round-the-clock support
  • Collaborate with infrastructure team to deploy and maintain Linux/Windows servers using automated scripts and predefined runbook

Requirements:

  • Strong academic performance
  • Good understanding of Linux Systems
