Job Title:

We are seeking a highly skilled system architect to oversee the management and maintenance of our Red Hat OpenShift clusters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in overseeing the overall architecture and infrastructure of Linux systems, as well as a strong understanding of cluster administration.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement architectures for scalable and high-performance Red Hat OpenShift clusters
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Linux systems and OpenShift environments
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of cluster architecture and configurations

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Cluster Management: Develop and implement policies and procedures for managing and maintaining Red Hat OpenShift clusters
  • System Administration: Provide L3 support for incidents and problems related to Linux system administration
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams to resolve platform-related issues and improve overall cluster performance

Performance Optimization:

  • Monitor and optimize the performance of OCP clusters
  • Implement best practices for resource allocation and management
  • Conduct capacity planning and scaling of OCP environments

Security Compliance:

  • Implement security policies and ensure compliance with organizational standards
  • Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Manage access controls and authentication mechanisms

Automation Scripting:

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks and deployments
  • Utilize tools like Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines for automation
  • Ensure infrastructure as code (IaC) practices are followed

Documentation Training:

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of the OCP environment and processes
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior administrators and other team members
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and technical workshops

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations
  • 3+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
