Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal affairs, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to provide expert guidance on diverse matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and vet a wide range of contracts, including supply agreements, service agreements, international contracts, non-disclosure agreements, memoranda of understanding, standard terms and conditions, and financing contracts.
  • Legal Advice: Provide detailed legal opinions and guidance on diverse matters, including bidding strategy and compliance, right of way and land acquisition, transmission service agreements, share purchase agreements, indemnity claims and contractual payment disputes.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct land-related legal due diligence and title verification for project development, assessing risks associated with land procurement and right of way.
  • Bid Support: Review final bid submissions for infrastructure projects, handle bid-related legal queries, and provide prompt clarifications to the bidding team to ensure timely and accurate submissions. Perform legal due diligence for acquisition of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) post project awards, evaluating contractual, corporate, and land-related risks for smooth transition and integration.
  • Negotiation: Engage in direct negotiations with external stakeholders and counterparties, finalizing contracts by ensuring favourable legal positioning while maintaining business objectives. Conduct thorough risk analysis before entering into agreements/contracts.
