Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Storage Architect to join our Professional Services organization.

This individual will serve as a trusted advisor and technical expert on storage architectures and integrations for both our internal Systems Integrations team and Engineering teams.

  • Provide expert storage guidance to Professional Services' Systems Integrations team for deploying Private Cloud Director (PCD) with various storage backends.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to inform design decisions and troubleshoot complex storage-related issues.
  • Advise PreSales engineers during customer solution design, POCs, and RFP responses on optimal storage approaches.

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of hands-on storage expertise across multiple technologies and vendors, with proven experience in designing, integrating, and optimizing storage solutions in complex enterprise environments.

This role will also partner with PreSales engineers during customer engagements to provide deep technical counsel on storage-related topics and will create best practice documentation and knowledge base articles for internal and external audiences.

  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of storage solutions.
  3. Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in storage architecture, design, and implementation. They should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

A minimum of 15 years of experience in storage engineering, with a focus on cloud, virtualization, and software-defined storage.

Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting storage systems.

Familiarity with industry-standard storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and DAS.

Strong understanding of data management, security, and compliance.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
