Job Description

This is a full-time, hybrid contract role for a Chief of Staff to our client, a Content Centre of Excellence Head, located in Bengaluru.

The successful candidate will assist in strategic planning, manage special projects, and oversee the daily operations of the Centre of Excellence. This includes coordinating between internal departments, streamlining processes, and providing executive support to the Head of the Centre of Excellence.

The candidate will also be responsible for internal communications, ensuring alignment across teams, and performing detailed reviews of marketing content assets.

  • Lead the planning and delivery of multi-channel content programs (web, app, email, social).
  • Manage project scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, and budgets effectively.
  • Run Agile workflows for content operations, driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Enforce editorial quality standards (style guides, QA checklists, compliance reviews).
  • Manage vendors and freelancers, ensuring service level agreements and cost efficiency.
  • Provide weekly status updates, risk assessments, and manage stakeholder communications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Essential - Strategic Planning and Project Management skills with proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Essential - Very strong skills in content creation, curation, editing, and content management.
  • Operational management experience, including overseeing daily operations, internal and vendor communications.
  • Coordination and Process Streamlining abilities with a focus on improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Executive Support and Report Preparation skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and travel occasionally as required.
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred, although not essential.
  • Preferable - A technology degree in Computer Science or Information Sciences.
