Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

  The technology infrastructure team is responsible for delivering reliable, performant and modern platforms that accelerate business outcomes.

  This role plays a highly critical operational role in developing and maintaining distributed real-time systems that serve key stakeholders. The engineer will optimize system operations through automation and tooling ensuring efficiency and scalability.

  Key responsibilities include building out foundational technical components of a robust SRE program across multiple complex systems, collaborating with development teams to ensure changes align with measurable Service Level Objectives (SLOs), monitoring system capacity and performance, and troubleshooting system issues.

  Additional responsibilities include reviewing and providing feedback on automation code developed by peers, participating in or leading design reviews with peers and stakeholders, and evaluating and selecting the best technologies and automation strategies for the firm's needs.

  In this role you will work closely with cross functional teams to deliver high quality solutions that meet the firm's technical requirements.

  Key Requirements:

  •     Develop and maintain distributed real-time systems that serve key stakeholders
  •     Optimize system operations through automation and tooling
  •     Collaborate with development teams to ensure changes align with measurable SLOs
  •     Monitor system capacity and performance
  •     Troubleshoot system issues
  •     Review and provide feedback on automation code
  •     Participate in or lead design reviews

  Preferred Qualifications:

  •     5+ years experience in software engineering and/or site reliability engineering
  •     Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or C++
  •     Experience with cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS or GCP
  •     Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices
