Job Title: Enterprise Data Governance Strategist

Collibra is seeking an accomplished data governance expert to lead our enterprise-wide governance initiatives and take ownership of our Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.

  • The primary responsibility is to design effective governance frameworks, drive adoption, and enable trusted data for analytics, compliance, and AI initiatives across the organization.
  • The role involves leading the end-to-end implementation and administration of Collibra across the enterprise, ensuring seamless integration with various platforms via APIs/connectors.
  • You will work closely with senior stakeholders, influence data culture, and define and scale Collibra practices to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure the Collibra Operating Model (domains, assets, workflows, and roles) to optimize data governance and compliance.
  • Build and optimize custom workflows using BPMN and Workflow Designer to streamline data processes and improve efficiency.
  • Partner with data owners, stewards, and leadership to enforce governance policies and data stewardship models, maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and other governance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Collibra experience, including platform configuration, workflow design, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, stewardship, and lifecycle management.
  • Expertise with Collibra APIs, BPMN, and scripting.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms: Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Informatica.
