Job Title: Cloud Computing Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Computing Specialist to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
  • Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud resources.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  • Administer company software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms to ensure user productivity.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and support application deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools is a plus.
  • Proven hands-on experience supporting Okta SSO Platform.
