Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to collaborate on designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and developing AWS architectures that meet business requirements for scalability, security, and high availability
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and translating them into robust AWS solutions
  • Implementing AWS monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Safeguarding AWS environments through effective security measures and compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
  • Developing strategies for optimizing AWS costs without compromising performance or security
  • Responding to system alerts, investigating and resolving related issues, and recovering/ restoring failed systems and applications
  • Conducting regular knowledge-sharing sessions and training programs for team members
  • Mentoring other team members in all facets listed above

Required Skills / Experience:

  • 7 to 9 Years Experience in Information Technology
  • Strong experience implementing access control using IAM
  • Experience with repository management (Git)
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and monitoring AWS Workspaces
  • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible Tower, AWS CloudFormation)
  • Strong AWS implementation and administration experience
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining secure networking practices within the AWS infrastructure
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining multi-region disaster recovery solutions using AWS services
  • Experience with CloudTrail and CloudWatch
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and processes to achieve commitments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills to all levels of the organization
  • Process and technical documentation skills

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Scripting capability and ability to develop scripted AWS infrastructure
  • General understanding of multi-region and hybrid cloud architectures
