Job Title: Executive - Planning (Formulations)

As a seasoned planning executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by optimizing production schedules, analyzing market trends, and ensuring seamless supply chain management.

  • Degree: Bachelor of Science or Master of Science
Key Responsibilities:

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Assist in annual budget analysis and monitoring against actuals.
  2. Collaborate on the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  3. Align production schedules for formulation plants to meet customer demand and optimize resource allocation.
  4. Analyze production planning based on open orders and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Participate in 'At Risk' meetings to drive down product numbers in this category.
  6. Develop strategies to reduce air shipments based on priority.
  7. Monitor daily production and despatches against plans to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  8. Reconcile purchase orders with customers to resolve any discrepancies.
  9. Obtain MOD from US teams and share with local plants to facilitate despatches.
  10. Track sales and customer demand across various regions and timeframes.
  11. Oversee project management for timely tech transfer, launch, and commercialization of products.
  12. Create fortnightly sales reports to inform business decisions.
  13. Track manufacturing performance against line plans to identify opportunities for improvement.
  14. Provide captive API requirements to the API team for planning purposes and track despatches accordingly.
  15. Continuously monitor demand vs forecast vs actuals to make informed decisions.
  16. SUPERVISE material procurement based on received demands from various markets.
  17. Oversee day-to-day operations including materials planning, purchasing, manufacturing, release, dispatch & delivery.
  18. Develop and use a supply chain dashboard through Power BI to drive data-driven decision making.
  19. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly MIS reports as needed.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Hands-on experience in handling planning and budgeting activities in formulation plants.
  • Experience in creating manufacturing line plans for solid oral and injectable formulations.
  • Knowledge of formulation manufacturing principles.
  • Strong experience in SAP operations and advanced Excel skills.
  • A proactive approach to addressing internal and external queries.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • The ability to pivot and try new approaches when faced with challenges.
  • A strong commitment to upholding high standards of business ethics.
  • The ability to handle complex situations optimally.
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills.
